October 2017 - February 2018

  • Configured and maintained NLJ’s Poetry Index and Manuscript databases and catalogues to provide access to the Library’s collections.
  • Migrated data into the library management software, including the conversion of nonstandard data to standards such as MARC 21.
  • Provided technical support as well as plans and delivers software training.
  • Documented issues and resolutions related to the maintaining of software for future reference.
  • Assisted with installation, configuration, upgrade, maintenance and support of software solutions.
  • Contributed to the development of software policies and procedures.

UWI MONA LIBRARY – JAMAICA

  • Primary personnel with responsibilty for the creation of complex schedules of over 100 staff members for regular and extended opening hour duties and arranges replacements for absenteeism, on order to ensure efficient daily management of the University Libraries.
  • Handled highly confidential and non-confidential documents and constructed replies to correspondence.
  • Designed marketing materials (banners, posters, flyers) and coordinated seminars, workshops and social functions to facilitate promotion of the UWI libraries and services.
  • Took diction, minutes of selected meetings as directed by the Deputy Librarian and reproduced the same in letters, memos, speech and report formats.
