Community Group

At Power in the Word Minitries, we believe that the church is God’s people existing in community together and not just a Sunday event! Because of this, we meet all throughout the week, all over the city in groups called Community Groups. This is a place where we do life together by caring for each other's needs, growing in our relationship with God, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus with the people God has placed in our lives. We share God's word by working through questions that are based on the Bible passage and the message given by the pastor that Sunday. Most of our groups eat together which includes full meals, light refreshments or deserts, based on the group.

Volunteer

Our Volunteer Groups meet in different places in more than 30 locations, all throughout each city. In our groups, our voluntarism vary from assisting with the elderly at homes to voluntaring our services at shelters and other not-for-profit organizations.
